Happy Friday.

Basil is typically used in meals for savory dishes but goes really well cocktails.  It’s a great alternative to mint.

The best light in my house comes in the early morning before the sun gets to high and hot.  Slushy’s don’t last long in 80 degree heat when the sun is beating down on it.  During this time of year, that means I need to takes pictures before 10am.  I also don’t want to waste the cocktail so I have to drink it.  I realize it’s a little early to be drinking but it’s for the good of the blog.  It’s also getting progressively harder to type . . .
