Fall Sangria

Fall Sangria
Serves 2
1 Apple, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons Brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup Apple Cider, plus 2 tablespoons
2 tablespoons Agave Nectar (may substitute with honey or maple syrup)
1/2 cup spiced rum
Prosecco or sparkling wine
1 teaspoon Nutmeg
Combine apple, apple cider, agave nectar, spiced rum and nutmeg in a separate bowl. Set aside.
Add 2 tablespoons apple cider to bowl. Set Aside
Add brown sugar and cinnamon to plate. Stir to combine. Set aside.
When ready to serve. Place top of glass in the apple cider and then in the brown sugar mixture. This will create a brown sugar crust along the rim.
Add 1/2 of the sliced apple to each glass.
Pour 1/2 of the cider/rum mixture to each glass.
Pour sparkling wine to fill the glass about 1/2 cup.
Serve.
