Marinated Chicken with Mango and Avocado Salad

Pretty food, right?  Well, it tastes amazing too!  It all came from Supper Sack.  I got a chance to test-drive their meal planning and grocery delivery service.  They provide 3 recipes and almost everything you need to cook it.

It’s all delivered to your door.  Seriously, Monica (the owner) showed up Sunday afternoon said hello and then handed me 2 bags of groceries.  They do everything but cook the food for you.

The recipes are simple, flavorful and inventive.  The food is fresh, local and organic.  Each recipe is meant to feed up to 4 people.  I found that we could have easily fed at least 5 people with each recipe.  For LA, the price seems like a steal.

I would highly recommend this for someone that wants to cook healthy meals but planning them for a week may seem overwhelming or time consuming.  This takes out all the guesswork so that you can enjoy a healthy home cooked meal.

Please note that Supper Sack provided their service free of charge.  All the opinions and photos are my own.
