Apple Pie Cocktail
2 cups Apple cider
1 cinnamon stick
1 anise star
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup Brandy
1/2 cup Whiskey
Add the apple cider, cinnamon stick, cloves, anise star and honey into small saucepan over medium heat.
Bring to a boil. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and add vanilla. Let cool.
Add ice to 2 glasses.
Pour in 1/4 cup whiskey, 1/4 cup brandy and 1 cup apple cider into each glass. Top each with a splash of grenadine syrup.
Apples are everywhere and I’m looking forward to making apple pies for Thanksgiving. In the meantime, I’ll just make an apple pie cocktail. I swear. It tastes like the real thing!
