1 head of garlic
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Take garlic and remove as much of the skin without breaking up the garlic. You want it to stay in one piece.
Then take a knife and cut the top off of the garlic. If you’re using a sharp knife this will be been done easily in one cut.
Loosely wrap the tin foil around the garlic.
Place the garlic in the oven and let cook for about an hour.
Turn off the oven and remove the garlic. The garlic should be soft and melted. If not, throw it back in the oven for another 15 minutes.
Let cool slightly before using in your favorite recipe.
I really love roasted garlic. It smells amazing and tastes even better. It’s easy to make and freezable not to mention spreadable. Perfect for garlic bread, mashed potatoes, salad dressing and so much more. How do you use it?
