Seasonal Produce Guide | September

Here's a guide of in-season produce plus recipes for September

The weather is starting to change here. It’s finally starting to cool off. In San Diego that means it will only be 80 degrees instead of the sweltering 90s and 100s of August. The cooler weather means that we get produce that does well in more moderate weather like pears, grapes, limes and tomatoes. Tomatoes are so abundant this month that the vendors at the farmer’s market practically give them away!

I’d like to take a moment of silence now to honor the memory of my laptop. It died suddenly last month. It was old so it wasn’t totally unexpected but still difficult. It had been with me from the very beginning of this blog and had been such a hard worker. It’s sad to see it go but I know it’s in a better place. Rest in peace MacBook Pro.

Please bear with me as I mourn my loss. That laptop can’t be replaced but I’m going to try to keep the memory alive in a new computer.
