Lace is everywhere this fall. It’s not your grandmother’s lace either. You can find it in modern styles, used in just about every way. Lace as a bracelet! I mean, come on! That’s so cool!

I loved the idea of booties but hadn’t found a pair that I liked that was comfortable, affordable and stylish. I was so happy when I found these Mossimo booties at Target for $29.99 (as I’m writing this the shoes are temporarily on sale for $25.49). I was immediately drawn to the look of them but concerned about the fit. How could a shoe with 4.75″ heels from Target be comfortable? The 2″ platform helps take the edge off the extreme heel. I don’t feel like I’m walking on my toes. My feet are actually comfortable in the shoe due to the cushioned insoles. Also, the heel isn’t quite a stiletto and there is a non-skid tread so I don’t ever feel like I’m teetering or going to slip.
I purchased the black pair as they are the only ones that were available at my local Target. They are available in other colors (taupe, leopard, wine) online. If I had the option I may have gone with the taupe. Although it would have made my decision a lot tougher. Black. Taupe. Both very wearily neutrals.
