The holidays are here and I am unprepared for all of the parties coming up. Right now, I’m interested in New Year’s Eve dresses. I’m thinking sequins. It’s the only time of year you can were head to toe sequins and not look a little nutty. I’m going to take full advantage. My favorite is the Jessica Simpson Silver Mesh Sequin dress.
How do you feel about sequins?

As a child, I never wore pink. I hated the color and absolutely refused. With two older brothers I wanted to be just like them and pink was too girly. As I got older I realized that fuschia wasn’t the bubble gum pink from my childhood but a bold dynamic color that happened to look really good on me. I also realized that it’s hard to pull off pink in your 30s while at the office and still be taken seriously. I work in a very casual office but I still need to look like an adult. I needed to adapt. Choosing one pink piece and other neutral colors to complete the outfit can be sophisticated. If you are not quite ready for bright pink pants, you can start off small. Try pink as part of a pattern or a pink accessory.
