Any weather other than sunny and warm is unusual in Los Angeles.  Last week we had a full blown thunder and lightning storm.  The rain was coming down so hard that it sounded like someone was dropping dead bodies on the metal roof of my office.  It’s the worst storm that I can remember since I moved here, 10 years ago.  Although it was short lived.  It only lasted the morning and the sun was bright and shining by the afternoon.  As the sun was setting I managed to get a few (iphone) photos of my garden.  Everything was so green and smelled so fresh.  It’s rare that LA gets wiped clean by a good rain.  Now my concrete patio looks like a jungle!  Thank you rain!
